Pilates Method

We use the principals taught by Joe and Clara Pilates’ for effective Pilates training. Turning Tide teaches specific Pilates rebalancing exercises, Pilates Mat sequences and uses specialist Pilates Studio Equipment to condition the entire body. We teach the healthy breathing practices used in the Pilates method to integrate mind and body powerfully. You will discover the correct spinal alignment and core stability found through Pilates practice brings balanced posture with strength. The Pilates method, when practiced regularly, positively changes a person, leaving you feeling more relaxed, invigorated, taller and stronger, with a new sense of well-being. The Pilates Method is a complete, holistic, safe and effective form of exercise.
