Gaining popularity worldwide, and relatively young in New Zealand, Turning Tide Studio offers training in the GYROKINESIS®exercise method. This effective new approach to physical health uses spinal mobilisations like arching, curling, twisting and spiralling to release, strengthen and energise the whole body. The class is rhythmical and moves fluidly through sequences with breath patterns and movement combined. The class equipment is a simple wooden stool and a mat. This healing, energetic exercise system was created by Juliu Horvath through his deep knowledge and experience in dance, gymnastics, yoga and Chinese medicine. Juliu continues to develop his work for others “to experience exercise as a creative and delightful experience” and to teach internationally.
